Quick pool: what part of the movie do you think of when you hear "Old Yeller"?
Now, on reflection, it's a sweet movie about a faithful companion. But my instinctive reaction is to jump straight to the ending, and thus I don't ever think of it as a happy movie.
Which is why I shook my head in disbelief in the grocery store when I saw:

I can only assume that the marketing genius behind this branding has never actually seen the movie.
