Filters and such

amanda_loddenA few weeks ago, I created a new filter on LiveJournal. A discussion with shaddoth led to a disagreement about whether certain people should be added to it; I believe very strongly in not pushing people out of their comfort zones (at least not without a really good reason), so I naturally censor certain information from certain people-- not out of embarrassment over the information, but out of respect for the boundaries of the other person.
Or at least, I thought I naturally censor things-- Shad tells me that because I am also a pretty open person, I "leak" information, and a lot of people already know things that I try not to tell them. On a lark, I asked one of the people I tend to censor info for, and discovered that he would indeed like to be added to the filter. Which, for the record, is named "kink" (though the more I think about it, the more likely it is that it will be renamed to a more generic "explicit", as not everything I plan to put under it is kinky).
This leads me to question who else would or would not be interested in being added to that filter. Speak up and be heard, folks.
Ground rules:
1. You must have a LiveJournal account that you use to read entries with. Sorry, that's just how the filters work. Folks who use RSS to read this need not apply.
2. I get veto rights, because there are some people who I just don't want to tell certain things to. My list is pretty small, but as an example: nieces and nephews need not apply.
3. Because many of the things that would fall into an "explicit" filter will naturally contain information about my sex life with John, John gets veto rights. I have no idea what his list looks like, but it's a pretty good bet that his sister need not apply.
4. You have the right to change your mind at any time. Just email or leave a comment to the effect that you'd like to be added or removed and it shall be done, with no questions asked.
