I had another idea this morning

Everyone has something in the back of their mind that they would do if they had the money. For some it's just travel and possessions, and there's nothing wrong with that. B has stated several times that if he had the money, he'd just keep a small army of lawyers on retainer and have them fight the cases where there's a party clearly in the wrong but that party has enough money to pay their own army of lawyers, and so the people who are wronged grumble and suck it up because they can't afford the court costs.
Me, I would hire a small army of programmers. I keep getting weird little ideas for apps/programs that don't have a lot of salable value, but that would make a small slice of life that much easier to deal with. The days of hiring programmers solely on the value of "I'll give you part ownership of the company" are pretty well over (everyone needs to eat, and Real Jobs are scarce enough that you can no longer easily find one that'll let you muck about with personal projects on their time), and that system only really works if the company is expected to, you know, make money and have value.
I suppose I could toss some of the ideas out into the Open Source wind and see if anything comes of them.
