This is what Google Voice said the transcription of the voicemail was:

Hi, he said to call my daughter and and it's clearly not server calling today to go to bed. But apparently you pizza. I will talk to you soon.

Here's what it actually was, from CJ telling me his flight landed safely:

Hi, you said to call when I got in and it's nearly midnight so I was going to call and tell you to go to bed, but apparently you beat me to it. I will talk to you soon.

Never mind that CJ was not mumbling, nor that there was no background noise for GV to try to sort through: what I want to know is how on earth "beat me to it" became "pizza." Not only is it not even remotely close, it's not even close to the same number of syllables.

No, I don't know why I bother having it transcribed. Mostly it's because I've forgotten how to turn that off but still get the voicemail in my email.
