Productive day, pleasant evening
Apr. 27th, 2011 10:34 pmSteve came over to help with Things Amanda's Back Won't Let Her Do, and now the smoke detectors are up, we (mostly) have a new doorbell, the bathroom cabinet doors are on properly, several more shelves are up, two pictures have been hung, and two large items have been moved from the upstairs office to the basement to make way for more sitting space. We were both tired by the time we were done, but my to-do list is noticeably shorter now.
Dinner was Miyako at the mall, which Steve can be blamed for as well, because he talked about a recent trip to Benihana and that got me craving teppanyaki. I had some misgivings when the hostess sat us with a family with four children, but the kids turned out to all be very well behaved, and there were no whiny incidents to spoil the yummy dinner. Snuggles and swimming rounded out the very pleasant evening.
