amanda_loddenToday I finished a project!
All the shelves in the basement room that we call the pantry (even though we stopped storing food in it a decade ago) have been cleaned. Not cleaned OFF; part of why the project took as long as it did was that it involved moving the things from one shelf to another as I freed up empty space, then cleaning that empty space to create space to move the next set of things to. While I was doing that, I also wiped down all the boxes and bottles that would survive such treatment. And bleach-mopped the floor, for good measure.
As tasks go, it's one of those things that only I will really appreciate much, but it's also a key step in the larger "clean out the basement" project.
