We have box elder bugs in the house. It's sort of a semi-annual thing, and you get used to it. I am particularly creeped out when they land or walk on me, and tend to twitch a little (okay, a lot) while flicking them off. Sometimes I twitch so much that there's no longer a need to flick them off, because the bug goes "Holy crap my perch is MOVING!" and flies off my arm (or leg, or whatever). Regardless, they always fly away after being flicked off.
Except this one, which I flicked off five minutes ago and which has been perching on my notebook near my mouse since then, just staring at me.
I, um... I have to go now. To somewhere else. Anywhere else.
