It's interesting, it took me a while to get into the true blood series because there are plot lines in the television series that are in no way a part of the books. I'm okay now with appreciating the series in it's own right and am waiting for Season 3 (not that I have HBO, but I will see it all the same!).
Normally mystery is not a genre I really read/get in to, but the Sookie Stackhouse series is sort of a fantasy/mystery/whatever genre (I'm not even sure where it fits!). I did an amazon search and read the description of the book and it doesn't really sound like it's my thing. Plus apparently it's a series and I'm not sure I want to follow yet another series (I'm already following like 5 of them!). Thank you for offering the book though!
