Eh? You've met two of her grandchildren, so you ought to know that they suffer from Teh Crazy just as much (though in recent years John and Lisa have actually managed to talk to each other as adults instead of regressing back to when one of them stole the other's cookie). As for the rest of her grandchildren, they run the gamut. One of them I don't believe I've ever met, even after 10 years of being married into the family and being at his grandfather's memorial service. One of them is pretty decent, though. Rational, even.
Her eldest daughter, the one in Colorado, is a decent human being who I quite like. The younger, panicky one is a lot like Pat-- when she's doing okay, she's nice enough, but when it all falls apart she loses rationality quickly and gets unpleasant to deal with.
