Congratulations are in order...
Brian and Julianna took possession of their new house yesterday. John and I went out to see it this afternoon. It needs a bit of work, but most of the work is cosmetic-- new paint and the like. (There's some real work as well, don't get me wrong, plus a fair number of things they'd like to do but that aren't strictly necessary right away.) It's 6 bedrooms on 11 acres, so they'll have plenty to keep them busy for a good long while.
Plus, Julianna told me that I can re-decorate their bathroom. Woo! I love re-designing things. I'd do a lot more to our own house, but John keeps making unreasonable demands like "finish one major project before you start another one" and "we have to be able to pay for it before we start it."
I look forward to laughing at them (Julianna in particular, I suspect) about all the projects in their future.
