Fall planting
Oct. 20th, 2009 07:00 pmMy plants arrived today. As every year, I ordered them at a time when I thought I'd have plenty of free time in the fall to plant them. Bleah.
This afternoon, I planted:
2 Lilacs
1 Magnolia
6 Rose of Sharon
(which are, collectively, the Hedge Row of Eventual Spa Hiding)
2 Butterfly Bushes
Yet to go: 50 periwinkle andenough bulbs to make me exclaim "Where in the hell did I think I was going to put all these?"
It'll be beautiful when it's done. It'll be beautiful when it's done. It'll be beautiful when it's done. If it ever gets done, it'll be beautiful.
