A note to anonymous readers
Jan. 23rd, 2008 11:01 amI know that several people prefer to read this journal without having a livejournal account, and I'm perfectly fine with that-- LJ has a lot of filtering options, so there's nothing publicly-readable that isn't meant to be publicly-readable. LiveJournal also has the ability to post comments anonymously, which means that you can still comment without having an account, and I'm always happy to hear what folks have to say.
However, yesterday I giggled at my sister-in-law for her comment about hypo-mania. Only it turned out that it wasn't her comment at all, and that she hadn't even read the post in question yet. She was confused, I was embarrassed, and I still don't know who I ought to be giggling at.
So I have a request: if you make a comment anonymously (and please, feel free to do so!), sign it. It doesn't have to be your full name; if you'd prefer not to use your name at all, initials will do. If you feel particularly paranoid, make up a codename and tell me what it is privately. I'd just like some hint as to who said what.
