The idea of the meme is that you answer the questions by leaving a comment here, and then post the list of questions in your journal so I can answer there. However, I don't like making people post things if they don't want to, and I don't like the idea of having to answer the same questions over and over if multiple people actually do it. So here's my answers, as left in Sandy's journal [with a later edit to put the questions back in, as requested by Jim]:

1.)Q. Can you cook?
1.)A. Yes. Er, no. Um, sort of. I love to cook for large groups, but I'm at a loss on how to feed the two of us routinely and as a result we spend a lot of money on pizza and take-out.

2.)Q. What was your dream growing up?
2.)A. Which one? I dreamt of being a ballerina, an astronaut, President, an architect... take your pick. I was as easily distracted then as I am now.

3.)Q. What talent do you wish you had?
3.)A. Juggling fifty tasks at once. Sleeping only 4 hours a night (thus freeing up the other four for more interesting tasks).

When I'm not feeling stressed and overwhelmed, I wish for a better singing voice. I like to sing, and I do it often, but I usually have to do it alone because other people tend to ask me to stop.

4.)Q. If I bought you a drink what would it be?
4.)A. Something fruity. A strawberry daiquiri, or a fuzzy navel. Unless I'm in one of THOSE moods, and then it's Bacardi Dark and Coke.

5.)A. Will you be mad if I say I don't really recall? I'm sure it involved Flex in some way, either at his house or during a live game.

6.)A. The last book I read was kinky erotica that I will not name. The second to last book was _Making Money_, the newest Terry Pratchett book.

8.)A. One tattoo on my left shoulder, and each ear is pierced once.

9.)A. Indulging my sweet tooth far, far too often.

10.)A. Of course I would. But I might not if I saw someone I didn't know.

11.)A. That would be defined as the sport that bores me least? When I find it, I'll let you know.

15.)A. I like combinations of food that others consider weird (caramel on potato chips, cheese with carrots, etc). The more stressed or angry I am, the weirder the combinations get.

16.)A. Two cats, plus two more who technically belong to my mother but are staying with us until she's better. I don't consider them mine, but they seem to consider me theirs.

But I can also appreciate non-romantic things done for the sole purpose of helping me or making my life easier, and I get all gooey inside from those too.
