New Year's Eve Party

When: Friday, December 31, any time after 4pm
Where: John & Amanda's house, call or email for directions.
What: Food. Board games, card games and the Wii and Playstation 3.
Good company and socializing.

If you've been to our house, you may recall that parking gets a little
dicey when there's snow on the ground. Carpooling is recommended, and
if we run out of places to park I will happily ferry people to and
from cars parked at near-ish retail establishments.

Alcohol will be served, which means that Amanda & John's Rules For
Drunkards come into play (specifically, we have the right to take your
car keys away if we feel you are too impaired to drive, and if you
create a mess that requires professional cleaning services, we're
going to make you pay for those services). Crash space is available.
Plenty of non-alcoholic alternatives will be available for those who
prefer not to imbibe, including sparkling juices suitable for festive
toasts.

Children are welcome, but our house is not child-proof, and some
conversations may turn to topics not suitable for little ears. If you
bring your child, bringing along a toy or two will go a long way
towards a pleasant evening. Temporary crash space for children who
conk out early is also available.

You are welcome to bring guests, and to pass this invitation along to
anyone I might have missed.
